Frankie Lindale is a pen name for USA Today Bestselling Author BL Mute.

BL Mute debuted in 2019 with Jupiter and Her Moons, a story shaped by addiction, loss, and grief. Over time, her work shifted toward more traditional romance—mafia men, familiar tropes, characters written to be loved. Those books mattered to her, but they never felt fully honest.
She spent years trying to make stories fit inside the romance box. Trying to balance expectation with authenticity. Eventually, it became clear that some stories just don’t belong there.
Frankie Lindale was created to tell those stories.
